Terms of use
The rules for using Temp Mail
These terms apply when you use the Temp Mail app for Android, published by TempGenerator. By using the app, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

Who can use Temp Mail
You must be at least 18 years old to use Temp Mail.
-
The service
Temp Mail gives you disposable email addresses that can receive mail for a limited time. A random address lasts 60 minutes, or 1–30 days after an optional short video. You can also choose your own address name. Addresses are receive-only, and each is deleted together with its mail when its timer runs out. The app is free. You can hold up to 5 addresses at a time without an account, or 10 with a free account; delete one to make room for another.
-
Accounts and address names
An account is optional and free. Use a working email address from a provider we accept, keep your password secret, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. Choosing an address name lets you use it on Temp Mail while your account exists; it does not make you its owner. Every name is given out once and never to anyone else, even after it ends, and a guest name can’t be used again by anyone, including you. We may refuse or end a name that is offensive, impersonates someone, or is used to break these terms or the law. You can delete your account at any time in the app or on the website; your names stay locked afterwards.
-
Ads and optional rewards
Temp Mail is free because it shows ads from Google AdMob: a banner on the inbox screen, an ad card in the inbox and occasional full-screen ads. You can also choose to watch a short video (a rewarded ad) for a reward: keeping an address for 1–30 days, or creating, bringing back or extending an address name you chose. A reward is granted only after Google confirms that the video was watched, works only in the app, and has no cash value. Rewards are limited: one per random address, and at most 3 videos per chosen name every 6 hours. We may change or end them; a reward you have already received stays valid until it is used or expires. We aren’t responsible for the products, services or content of advertisers. Where ads appear and how they use data is explained in our privacy policy.
-
Using Temp Mail responsibly
You agree not to use Temp Mail to:
- break the law, or help anyone else do so;
- commit fraud, impersonate others, or get around bans, payments or identity checks you are required to pass;
- harass, threaten or harm anyone;
- receive illegal material, such as child sexual abuse material;
- overload, probe or attack our systems, or get around limits such as the address cooldown;
- access inboxes that aren’t yours.
-
How we keep the service safe
To prevent abuse, we use automated measures that run without human review: limits on how many addresses a phone or network can create and how often, and the ability to block domains, addresses, devices or networks that are used for abuse. We may restrict an address, a device or a network that breaks these terms or the law. When we do and can reach the person affected, for example because they wrote to us, we tell them what we restricted, why, and how to contest it. A person reviews every objection sent through the contact form.
-
Reporting illegal content
If you believe an address or a message on Temp Mail involves illegal content, report it through the contact form with the topic Report abuse or illegal content. Please include:
- why you believe it is illegal;
- the exact address and, if you can, the message’s sender, subject and time;
- your name and email address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that your report is accurate and complete.
We confirm receipt, review the report promptly and tell you our decision. If we learn of information suggesting a criminal offence that threatens someone’s life or safety, we inform the competent police or judicial authorities.
-
Points of contact
Authorities, users and anyone else can reach us at support@tempgenerator.com or through the contact form. You can write to us in English or in any language this site is available in. Our legal notice lists our details.
-
Not for anything important
A disposable address is public by nature: anyone who knows it can send mail to it, and its mail is deleted when the timer ends. We can’t recover deleted addresses or messages. Don’t use Temp Mail for banking, work, health or government services, or any account you want to keep.
-
Availability
We work to keep Temp Mail running, but we can’t promise that it will always be available, that every message will arrive, or that every website will accept our addresses. We may change, suspend or end features, domains or the app.
-
Ownership
The app, its design and its name belong to TempGenerator. Open-source components are used under their own licences, which you can view in the app’s settings. The mail you receive belongs to its senders and to you, not to us.
-
No warranty
Temp Mail is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
-
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, TempGenerator isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, accounts or access that result from using disposable addresses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
-
Stopping use
You can stop using Temp Mail at any time: forget your addresses in Settings and uninstall the app. We may stop providing the app to you if you break these terms.
-
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the country where TempGenerator is established. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and you may bring claims in its courts.
-
Changes to these terms
We update the date at the top whenever these terms change, and announce significant changes in the app and on this website before they take effect. If you don’t agree with a change, you can stop using the app at any time.
